Aslan… where it all began

For years, I admired Maine Coons from afar. Their size, gentleness, and quiet presence captivated me. But it wasn't until my husband gifted me Aslan as a graduation present that admiration became devotion. From the moment he stepped into our home, everything changed. He wasn't just a cat—he belonged here.

Honoring Our First King

Mufasa was the first king of Lamp Post Laine. His gentle temperament, striking silver coat, and beautiful kittens helped lay the foundation of the Lamp Post Laine breeding program and set the standard for generations to come

Now Seeking His Happily Ever After

Having completed his contribution to our cattery, Mufasa has been neutered and is ready to begin his next chapter—not as a king, but as a cherished family companion. We are searching for a loving home where he can be spoiled, adored, and spend the rest of his life exactly as he deserves.

Current Queen • Classic Brown Tabby

Goldie is the heart of our home and the proud mother of our debut litter. With her affectionate temperament, timeless classic tabby beauty, and unwavering devotion to her family, she beautifully reflects everything Lamp Post Laine hopes to be.

Yet Goldie's most treasured role has nothing to do with pedigrees or kittens.

At home, she is Kingston's faithful companion and quiet shadow. Their bond is one of quiet understanding, playful adventures, and unwavering affection—a friendship that is woven into the rhythm of our family's everyday life. Around our home, she's known by another name, too. Kingston lovingly calls her "Honey Bun," and she answers to it just as happily.
